We like to think that the Headless Horseman is an optimist. Everyone knows that he lost his head in battle and he could just sit around, stewing about his unfortunate loss. Instead, he decided to improvise. He picked up a Jack-o-Lantern as a sturdy replacement for his missing noggin.
