Pirate's Best Friend

All birds are cool, but only parrots are well-known buccaneers. You won't find a blue jay sitting on a grizzled, peg-leg buccaneer's shoulder and squawking, "Pieces of eight!" What's even more awesome is that some parrots can live to be more than one hundred years old. Maybe they're the ones training new pirates by teaching them everything that they need to know about dead men's chests and hoisting the Jolly Roger.

Product Details

Show off your fancy feathers in this exclusive, unisex Kid's Red Parrot Costume! The red tunic top zips down the back and has a blue fabric tail sewn to its seat. Its long sleeves are blue with layers of red, yellow and green fabric cut to resemble feathers. The black foot covers are shaped like parrot feet and secure under the soles of the feet with elastic bands. The stuffed red headpiece fastens at the back and features printed parrot eyes and a fiber-filled black beak.

Polly Want a Candy

Imagine your neighbors' surprise and awe when a parrot shows up at their door this Halloween. They will be so impressed that the bird has learned so many words, including "Trick or treat!" that they may even give it extra candy. It probably won't ever be asked to do a trick for its candy, since a talking bird is a trick in and of itself. Hopefully no one tries to give you a cracker instead of a candy bar. Crackers have their time and place, but Halloween is for sugar.
