Bon Apart?
You'll have to forgive us. We're a little confused. Someone got really excited about our Bon Apart costume, and we're really confused. Did we miss something? Are we talking bonbons here or something else entirely? Oh! Bonaparte. Well, that makes more sense... sort of. We're talking Napoleon, right? that short Russian dude who had something to do with water? What? French? Oh. Well, that is starting to sound a bit more familiar. Wasn't he a king or something? Right. Emperor (like that's any different). Ooh! Wait! He was the super short one, wasn't he? There we go. It's all coming back to us now. He was French but got his butt kicked by the Russians, and then he was defeated at Waterloo. That's what it was.
You'll have to forgive our historical ignorance. We promise we're not completely out-of-the-loop, it just that we have so many fabulous costumes from so many eras and for so many different people, the details get a little scrambled sometimes. But our costumes are still on point!
Fun Details
Take our Napoleon Men's Costume, for instance. This polyester outfit has a high-waisted blue jacket with decorative buttons and a split tail in the back. There are shiny gold epaulets with fringe and decoration (conveniently affixed with hook and loop fastener) for the shoulders. The vest has separate decorative buttons, and there's even a red sash. The pants have an elastic waistband and are knicker length. That means they are long enough to fit under the vinyl boot covers that come with the costume. The hat is included as well, and it's lined with foam to help retain shape. There are even foam medals printed and pinned to the outfit, so you can look like a proper strategic genius.
Emperor and Things
Ah yes, it's coming back to us know. Napoleon's ambition. His appreciation of art... his chauvinistic sayings. What a guy. Well, whatever you may need the French Emperor for, just know that we've got the outfit if you're in need. Just don't think this means we'll support you if you're bent on conquering Europe. We've got our own world domination plans, thank you very much.
