Scare Isle Style
We like to imagine an island where it's always spooky season. Residents enjoy pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and corn mazes year-round. Scary movies are standard primetime entertainment. Candy is both dessert and hors d'oeuvre. Moonlit strolls only ever take place in bare witches' woods. And wardrobes, of course, are exclusively Halloween-inspired.
We're still looking for the bewitching land. But while the search continues, we've assembled the means to replicate the most charming bits on our own shores, starting with the clothing and this Unique Vintage Knit Fair Isle Coffin Sweater!
Fun Details
Travel to the Halloween island of our dreams with this versatile knit sweater! The rich maroon color immediately makes the garment easy fall fashion, giving mind to turning leaves and even spookier Halloween things. Meanwhile, the short sleeves and close-fit make the top great for the last summer days when temps begin to dip and layering under jackets or flannels as fall gives way to winter.
The chic sweater is made even better with the Halloween-themed Fair Isle design. Skeletal cats and hand-hearts shape the top and bottom row of the knit-in graphics. A narrow white stripe above the bottom cat and heart pattern features flying bats in a chevron arrangement. Above that is the sweater's namesake, an alternating pattern of maroon coffin lids and waving skeletons.
