Move over patriarchy, Veronica Corningstone is here to read the news! She's seen it all and she's ready with a quick comeback. She can see right through Ron Burgundy's elaborate weight lifting facade. Smart lady! You can be sure that we would have fallen for that in an instant, after all, he's kind of a big deal. 

Speaking of big deals, Veronica is ready to take over the evening news in San Diego. She can't be derailed by pants parties, glaring harassment, and consistently being underestimated because she's got her eyes set on the glory of the anchorman position. Hey, she can actually think outside of the teleprompter so she's sure to do pretty well!

Okay, she might have questionable taste in men, she fell for Ron Burgundy but he did break out his very best jazz flute so we can't really judge her. That mustache, husky voice, and musical talents make for a pretty convincing sell. Still, we wouldn't blame her for trying to drown her feelings in Manhattans once she's done with her hard work day, the seventies are a pretty rough time for women in the workplace!
