Wizard Costumes
Magic. Look, we get it. It's kind of a childish word. We learned way back when that it was part of funny fantasy, at best, and the strange street magician work that they, themselves, do their best to call illusions, instead. But, still. Magic. It hits up something so intrinsically awesome that no matter what goofy associations we might have, it still inspires the best thing that we humans have to offer: imagination.
So, it's time to roll up those sleeves and pull out the best stuff that your wizardry can muster and we're here to help with a ton of magical costumes and accessories.
The real question is what kind of wizard you want to be. Obviously, we've got a ton of options to pull from, all ranging from our favorite books, spectacular movies, gripping TV series, and even a handful of comic books and video games. Or are you going to go even better and take what we've got to offer and create your very own wizard character? (Really, breathing life into that Dungeons & Dragons character you've rolled up is perhaps the best way to bring it to life and we can confirm your Dungeon Master will grant bonus experience points!)
So, we've got to start in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, naturally. With Pottermore at the ready, over ten films reaching into our mind, and books with more details that we can remember, you've got loads of spells ready to go. Just grab your wand and give the Sorting Hat one more chance to refine your Hogwarts House. Pick up a deluxe costume to make your very own magical you or emulate your favorite character! Harry, Hermoine, and Ron are always up for more adventures. So is Newt! And, of course, we never know if old Voldy didn't sneak up yet another Horcrux...
If Harry Potter's modern tales are a little too overdone for you, go way back to the middle ages and put together a look of an arcane druid. Merlin was a crucial guide for young Arthur, true, but this mage is immortal and certainly ready to pull out the magic for all sorts of different tasks. Cultivate a Renaissance Festival look with our wands, staves, and glorious robes so you can do some finger flinging and make sure that the tomato chuckers go pick a different target this year.
Are the Middle Ages not mystic enough for you? How about Middle-Earth!? Gandalf and the rest of the Maiar Wizards were here to guard and form the growing world long before the elves departed. Well, we could probably use just a bit more! Bring Lord of the Rings to life... and give Gandalf another chance, too. Prefer the doddering friend to small-folk, Gandalf the Gray, or are you ready for some serious power when you dethrone Saruman and take on the White?
