OLD FASHIONED SOCK HOP
This costume really brings on the nostalgia for the 1950's, can you feel it? Don't you wish you were out with your friends in your Bel Air convertible, cruising through the middle of town, radio blaring Dean Martin's latest hit. School just got out for summer, and that means it's time to celebrate! Why not head down to the drive-in theater? You pull in four rows back and pull out your candy while you tune in your radio to the right station.
But the fun doesn't end there! After the drive in, it's time to head and find a good-old sock hop. That's right, time to bust a move, cut a rug, and jive until you have blown off all the stress of the last school year. Who better to listen to than Buddy Holly? Just don't forget to take off your shoes before you start, they don't call it a SOCK hop for nothin!

This costume feels truly iconic of the era. You'll be wearing a black skirt with an elastic waistband that comes embroidered with a sequin leash on a flannel poodle! The top of the skirt is decorated with black sequins, as are the cuffs of the shirt sleeves and the collar! The rest of the shirt comes in pink.
